We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of a charming neighborhood. The authentic mansion-style rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. We particularly loved our private terrace, which offered breathtaking views of the mountains and was the perfect spot to enjoy the dawn sunshine. The location was ideal, right in the center of town, and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was delicious and the staff, especially Flavia, were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable.
All was perfect, nothing to complain about.

The environment is unique as it is a Castle. It is in a very small town in a nice location.
The main disadvantage is that it take circa 30mins by car to get to the auto-strada and this can be quite tedious.

We spent Christmas in this hotel and it was a pleasant stay. the Christmas decoration was really nice and created a warm atmosphere. the breakfast was satisfactory, especially the homemade pastries and the continental options. the location was not only beautiful but also convenient since it was situated close to two free parking lots and the main square of the small town.
The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed during the busy holiday season, which resulted in a lack of attention towards the guests. Due to the hotel's old architecture, the floors were not soundproof, which led to a bit of noise disruption in the mornings.

The place was great, in a medieval little town in the mountains. Nice and quiet and the restaurant was fantastic!

Nestled in the midst of a charming medieval village, this hotel offers a beautifully restored, historic building with impressive mountain views. the rooms are well-maintained and clean, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. the breakfast served here is one of the best you will find in the region, offering a range of fresh and delicious items. the friendly staff provide excellent service, and give great recommendations on local activities, attractions, and restaurants.
Due to its central location in the historic village, the access to the hotel might be a bit tricky for those travelling by car.

We had a ‘suite’. Nice to have the space.
Internet access was limited to using hotel computer (only). Toilet needed lots of coaxing to flush

Interesting place! We stayed in one of the suites (actually around the corner from the main hotel. Big room, loads of space. Everything looked very new, as if it had just been completed/renovated. Friendly, helpful staff - the guy at reception insisted on giving us a tray full of cakes, yoghurt, fruit etc for breakfast on the last day as we were leaving v early. Nice restaurant with tasty food, though service a little inconsistent, took over an hour to be served!

Immaculately clean and maintained rooms. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Attentive and helpful staff. Delicious and affordable dinners at the adjoining restaurant. Aesthetically beautiful with attractive common rooms and outdoor patio.
Nothing that I didn't like.

There are no words adequate to describe the beauty and above all the elegance of the 'hotel. It 'located in one of the most beautiful villages of Sicily, charming old stone walls with arches, everything' meticulous attention to detail. A special thanks goes to the owner, always careful that everything is perfect. The staff is friendly and very professional, compliments to the chef who prepared excellent traditional dishes. If we do another holiday in Sicily we will return here.

Perfect location to explore the village. Hotel is located in fully renovated and meticulously maintained old building. Breakfast among the better in Sicily.
Parking is a problem if you have a car.

Of all the hotels that I booked in Sicily, I was most disappointed with this one, not because it wasn't very well appointed and good value for the size and decoration of the room (we had a suite), but because from the website description I had imagined a former converted castle set in its own grounds on the edge of the town I.E. more in the countryside. I probably didn't read the description properly so was downhearted when I discovered that it was right in the middle of town and our room wasn't in the main hotel bit. We had to walk around the corner into another street to gain access. The fact it was raining didn't help! In different circumstances, our visit could have been delightful.
Our room had no views of speak of as it faced out into the lightwell and the rest of the building so it felt a bit claustrophobic when we arrived at night. A few well-positioned lights and some plants in the lightwell would have cheered this area up no end. My lack of Italian was a bit of a barrier initially when we checked-in. Service at the hotel restaurant was very slow although the food was good when it came - and you could choose your wine personally from the cellar which was fun. The building works at the hotel meant that breakfast was a somewhat cramped experience although the proprietor did her best to make us feel at home.
